As part of our epic World Usability Day promotion for 2014, and because this year's theme is 'engagement', we've invited our partners to send us images of things they've been finding engaging in their daily lives.
Today we hear from Stef at UserTesting. UserTesting have awesomely offered 25 user tests (worth $1,225 all up) as part of our WUD 2014 giveaway. After you've tried the service once, you'll struggle to stop yourself trying it again, and again.
I met Stef when I was in San Francisco for UX Week 2014 (she is super cool), and a couple of times since then I've expressed envy to her that she lives in that thrilling, diverse city and I don't! So I'm not surprised to see that her entry celebrates San Francisco...
Stef Miller on what she finds engaging
"Engagement requires effort. It means opening your eyes, considering your options, actively participating. There is no right or wrong way to engage — the important thing is that when you do take action it is meaningful."
Today, I took a moment to observe.
Here we are in this incredible City by the Bay with so much to see, so much to do. San Francisco is a place where hearts melt, ideas explode and creativity abounds. Every day I revel in the energy of this place and today was no exception."
Thanks Stef — beautiful photo. I can't wait to come back!
