So, without further ado, please welcome Reframer: our new tool for qualitative user research.
Reframer streamlines the collection and tagging of observations and thematic analysis. We've acquired Reframer from NimblyApps and incorporated it into the Optimal Workshop Suite.
Those among you who have used Reframer in its past life will recognize bits and pieces of it, and also notice how much has changed now that it’s part of the Optimal Workshop family.
For one thing, it has a whole new look. The capture screen, where you collect your observations in real-time, has been stripped right down for super fast and elegant data capture. We’ve also added inline #hashTagging and “quoting” features so that you can categorize your observations and capture quotes effortlessly, as you hear them.
And this is just the beginning.
Reframer is now in public beta as part of the Optimal Workshop Suite, and is free until it's out of beta. We’re proactively seeking your input into how Reframer evolves from here. Those of you who know us well will know this is business-as-usual here at OW (“listening” is not just for things in “beta”). We take enormous pride in building software that people love to use.
You can access Reframer right now by logging into Optimal Workshop. You’ll find it right there next to Treejack, OptimalSort, and Chalkmark.
I hope you’ll all go out and give it a try. I’m really excited for us to take this journey and see Reframer grow up together. If you have feedback and ideas for how Reframer can make you more effective in your own research projects, please reach out to us. We’re here to listen.
